01/20/2026

Deadline to apply for the spring grant cycle is Feb. 20

CAYCE, S.C. (Jan. 20, 2026) – Nonprofit organizations within Dominion Energy's service areas can now apply for grants from the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation.

The spring application period for the foundation’s shareholder-funded grants is now open. It will close at 5 p.m. EST on Friday, Feb. 20. Decisions will be announced in May

Funding is available to organizations serving areas where Dominion Energy provides electricity or natural gas in South Carolina. Grants will be awarded to programs and specific projects that focus on human needs, environmental stewardship, education or community vitality.

"Many organizations in South Carolina are on the front lines every day supporting our neighbors, improving our communities, educating our children and protecting natural resources for the next generation," said Dominion Energy South Carolina President Keller Kissam. “We’re pleased to provide these grants to help them continue the good work that touches so many lives in meaningful ways.”

The foundation accepts grant requests twice every year – once in the spring and once in the fall.

The foundation will host virtual office hours in January and February to answer questions from nonprofits about the grant application process. For details and to apply for a grant, visit DominionEnergy.com/foundation.
