Dominion Energy Offering Energy-Saving Incentives for Small Businesses and Nonprofits

Available for qualifying lighting or HVAC equipment improvements

CAYCE, S.C. (Feb. 6, 2024) – For a limited time, Dominion Energy South Carolina small businesses and nonprofits are eligible for a 95% incentive – up to $6,000 – when making energy efficiency improvements to their existing lighting and heating and cooling systems. The incentive promotion is 5% more than the typical offer for program participants.

Through the Small Business Energy Solutions Program, eligible small business customers can receive the increased incentive through Feb. 29, reducing the upfront costs for implementing qualified energy efficiency projects.

“We are continuously looking for ways to assist our customers in improving their businesses’ energy efficiency in the most cost-effective manner,” said Annika Goodson, program manager. “This promotion is a great opportunity for a business owner or nonprofit to complete projects that will lower their energy usage and make an impact on their bills.”

Since 2014, the program has offered tailored recommendations to help small businesses save on their energy costs.

Eligibility requirements for the limited-time promo include:

  • Customers must sign a SBES Participation Agreement between Dec. 1, 2023, and Feb. 29, 2024.
  • All projects documented within the signed agreement must be completed no later than Oct. 31, 2024 to be eligible for the limited time offer of a 95% incentive.
