CAYCE, S.C. – (June 19, 2024) – The Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation recently awarded more than $800,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations across South Carolina, part of more than $4.2 million given across six states in the company’s service territory.
This year’s local recipients will expand options in communities facing food insecurity, improve access to services for people with disabilities, provide emergency shelter, preserve natural habitats, and advance the arts, among other causes.
“Our local nonprofits here in South Carolina have an ability to bring people together to support a common goal, and that’s important,” said Keller Kissam, president of Dominion Energy South Carolina. “While it means a lot to help them carry out their mission through financial donations, it means even more when our employees can volunteer to be boots on the ground with these groups that are making a big difference every day for our neighbors in the communities we serve.”
